Telemedicine continues to make follow-up care more convenient for medication questions, chronic condition check-ins, and non-emergency health concerns.
Remote care is most useful when patients prepare accurate medication lists, recent readings such as blood pressure or glucose, and clear descriptions of symptoms. It should not replace urgent evaluation for chest pain, severe breathing problems, stroke symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, or other emergency warning signs.
